ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 28. Turkmenistan has completed the construction of two water management facilities in the Lebap region located in the east of the country, Trend reports.
A sewage collection station was commissioned in the Azatlyk village in the Turkmenabat city in the Lebap region, and a water treatment plant for supplying settlements with a capacity of 25,000 cubic meters of water per day was put into operation in the Bitik village of the Charjew district.
The construction of these facilities was carried out by the builders of the 'Yash Turkmenler' private enterprise, which fully met the construction deadlines.
Furthermore, advanced technologies and engineering solutions were used to carry out work at both sites.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively improving the water sector, focusing on the modernization of water supply and sewerage systems in the regions.
The strategy includes the introduction of modern technologies to improve the efficiency of water systems, increasing public access to clean drinking water through the construction of new wells and the reconstruction of old ones, as well as educational initiatives to raise awareness about the effective use of water resources and hygiene skills.
