Ukraine's delegation in Ashkhabad for gas talks

(RBC) - A Ukrainian delegation headed by Fuel and Energy Minister Ivan Plachkov is paying a working visit to Ashkhabad on June 29-30. According to the Ministry, Plachkov is to meet with Oil and Gas and Mineral Resources Minister of Turkmenistan Gurbanmurat Atayev. One of the delegation's objectives is discussing issues related to Turkmen gas deliveries to Ukraine in 2006-2007 and repaying the debt for the gas already supplied in 2003-2005 with Turkmen authorities, reports Trend.

The delegation includes acting CEO of Neftegaz Ukrainy Alexander Bolkisev, Deputy CEO of Neftegaz Ukrainy Vladimir Petruk, Viktor Mashtabey, Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry, and heads of Ukrainian construction companies.
