The Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan and the delegation of the European Training Foundation (ETF) led by its director Madeleine Sherban discussed promising areas of cooperation in various fields between the Uzbek and European scientific and technological institutions.
A meeting between the parties was held at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry said in a press service.
It was noted at the meeting that an important sphere of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union is the education, where the parties have accumulated the positive experience of effective interaction.
ETF has supported such projects in the education system in Uzbekistan as the "Standard-2000", "Estimate based on competence", "Nursing", "National qualifications frameworks in Central Asia 2005-2007."
