Kazakhstan increases frequency of flights to Uzbekistan

Kazakhstan’s Air Astana will be carrying out three flights a week from Almaty and two flights from Astana to the capital of Uzbekistan, from April 1, 2019, Trend reports with reference to press service of the airline.

Thus, besides daily flights from Almaty, additional flights will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 09.00 pm (GMT+6).

Additional flights from Astana, besides the existing 4 flights a week, will be made on Mondays and Thursdays at 07:40 am (GMT+6).

“Air Astana” offers up to February 28 promotional rates for 63,400 tenge in the direction of Astana - Tashkent – Astana. Travel period: April 1-30.

Flights are operated on the Airbus A320 and Embraer 190.

The duration of the flight Almaty - Tashkent is 1 hour 35 minutes, Astana - Tashkent is 2 hours.

The airline began operating flights from Almaty to Tashkent in December 2010, and from Astana - in May 2012.

Since the launch of flights to Uzbekistan, the airline has transported more than half a million passengers and 700 tons of cargo.
