Turkish company to organize cotton-textile cluster in Uzbekistan

The Turkish Boyfill textile company together with the Uzbek Fayz Agro company will organize a cotton-textile cluster in the Fergana region of Uzbekistan,Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Innovation.

The project includes the cultivation and processing of raw cotton, the production of dyed fabrics, and ready-made knitwear using modern technologies.

A significant part of textile products that will be manufactured using an innovative cluster method will be exported abroad.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, today there are 122 clusters in the cotton textile industry of the country. The total production of raw cotton in Uzbekistan this year amounted to 3.4 million tons.
