BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Agricultural production in Uzbekistan amounted to 31.5 trillion soums ($2.8 billion) from January through March, 2022,Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, the largest volume of agricultural production was noted in the Samarkand region (4.1 trillion soums or $365 million), and the smallest - in the Syrdarya region (907.3 billion soums or $80.7 million).
Agricultural production in Uzbekistan in value terms amounted to 302.5 trillion soums ($27.9 billion) in 2021, which is an increase of 20.8 percent compared to 2020 (250.2 trillion soums or $23.1 billion).
