BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. South Korea and Uzbekistan have signed agreements on the construction of agricultural centers and the introduction of advanced technologies into production, Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
These centers will be constructed in the Yukorichirchik district of the Tashkent region in Uzbekistan.
It is also planned to introduce training for IT specialists and
the development of specialized software for greenhouses in the
centers.
According to the agreement, the following will be created:
- A training center for advanced technologies in horticulture -
$3.7 million;
- Innovation center of industrial technologies of "smart
agriculture" - $14 million;
- Center for the production of agricultural products and its
seedlings - $3.7 million.
Particular importance will be given to training IT specialists and
creating software to increase productivity, reduce costs and
improve quality.
