BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. Russian KAMAZ OJSC started implementing educational programs in colleges and technical schools of Uzbekistan to increase the number of specialists, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
Russian KAMAZ is one of the twenty leading manufacturers of trucks in the world. The company produces trucks, trailers, buses, engines, and power units.
Students of Uzbekistan who graduated from this educational program will become employees of KAMAZ in the nearest future.
The matter was discussed between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, and the Director of the Human Resources Development Department of KAMAZ Leniza Hikmatullina.
During the meeting, representatives of the Russian company pointed out that they are looking for painters, plasterers, welders, drivers, and electricians.
Furthermore, currently, about 900 students from Uzbekistan are taking the educational program of KAMAZ in Tatarstan, while some 1,800 Uzbek citizens are working at the company's factories.
