TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, March 6. Uzbekistan will open a small industrial zone in Akhangaran district of the Tashkent region, which will unite 26 projects, Trend reports.
A video meeting organized by the Uzcharmsanoat Association was held on March 4, 2024, to discuss the implementation of tasks stipulated by Resolution No. 531 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan regarding the implementation of land plots in a small industrial zone in the field of leather and fur production in Akhangaran district through electronic auctions.
Chairman of Uzcharmsanoat Association Fakhriddin Boboev, representatives of the executive office of the association, head of the state institution for management of small and youth industrial zones under the administration of Tashkent region Nurbek Rajabov, governor of Akhangaran district Erkin Mukhitdinov, his deputy Golib Eshmirzaev, head of the department of the auction center of the Organization of Electronic Online Auctions Abbos Abdullaev, as well as entrepreneurs working in the leather industry, took part in the event.
The construction of a small industrial zone in Akhangaran district involves the implementation of 26 projects and the creation of a leather and footwear cluster worth $30 million.
The sides discussed the procedure for placing projects on the land plots of the new small industrial zone in Akhangaran district. The importance of efficient use of each hundredth of land and minimizing the impact of production facilities on the environment was noted. The participation of enterprises in auctions and land allocation issues were also considered.
During the meeting, applications had already been received from entrepreneurs to implement the projects.
The participants of the meeting agreed to implement a daily road map to accelerate the implementation of projects in the Akhangaran small industrial zone.
