TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 18. Uzbekistan’s imports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials reached $2.6 billion in 2023, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure increased by 52.9 percent compared to $1.7 billion in 2022.
The volume of imported mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials reached $1.5 billion in 2021 and $1 billion in 2020.
In total, the country imported mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials worth $6.8 billion in 2020–2023.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan imported mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials worth $547.9 million from January through February 2024.
As per data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure increased by $211.3 million (62.7 percent) compared to $336.6 million in the same period last year.
