TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 19. The volume of gas production in Uzbekistan amounted to 46.7 billion cubic meters in 2023, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, the country produced 1.1 million tons of gas condensate during this period.
Gas output reached 51.6 billion cubic meters tons in 2022, a 4 percent decrease from the previous year (53.8 billion cubic meters in 2021). At the same time, gas condensate production fell 7.6 percent to 1.2 million tons in 2022 from 1.3 million tons in 2021.
In total, Uzbekistan produced 261.2 cubic meters of gas in 2019-2023 and 7 million tons of gas condensate during this period.

Meanwhile, Uzbekneftegaz, a state-owned holding company in Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry, generated 6.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas between January and March 2024. As a result, natural gas output reached 98 percent of the targeted volume. The anticipated volume was 7.1 billion cubic meters.
