Iran's atomic organization head in Vienna for IAEA confab
( Irna ) - Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) Reza Aqazadeh arrived in the Austrian capital Vienna Monday morning to attend the annual General Conference of the United Nations nuclear watchdog, it was reported here Monday morning.
IAEO deputy head for international affairs, Mohammad Saeedi, told IRNA that 144 member states of the Intenational Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will attend the week-long conference.
Aqazadeh is expected to address the confab on Monday afternoon, Saeedi added.
He said that the IAEO's head will also hold separate talks with its Russian counterpart Sergei Kiriyenko and the IAEA's Secretary General Mohamed ElBaradei on the sidelines of the body's annual meeting.
