Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. D.Khatinoglu / The chairman of the Commission on National Security of Iran and commission of Parliament on Foreign Policy, Aladdin Boroujerdi, protested against a statement made by the French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner against Iran.
The protest states that the official position of France towards Iran contradicts Iranian-French economic cooperation. France should apologize to Iran, Boroujerdi said.
Such action by France may cause serious damage to income from Iran.
IRNA, the information agency reported that Boroujerdi called the position of France against Iran an unprofessional foreign policy of this country.
