( Irna ) - Iran is one of the most faithful and committed members of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Wednesday evening.

Addressing the closing session of an international seminar attended by Shia and Sunni scholars, the minister said that Iran has always stressed on a balance between fulfilling its commitments at the agency and respecting its rights as a member state.

"Prospect of nuclear talks will be vague without materialization and recognition of Iran's (nuclear) rights," Mottaki stressed.

The minister denounced unilateralism of the bullying powers stressing that such an approach has inflicted massive damage upon international community.

Over 100 Shia and Sunni religious figures, intellectuals and elites from 25 countries surveyed issues related to Islamic unity and solidarity during the two-day seminar.
