Iran's first VP calls for release of goods held at customs checkpoints

Iran's first vice president Eshaq Jahangiri has stressed the necessity to resolve the problems with customs, and release the goods held at the country's customs.

Jahangiri has indicated the importance of avoiding accumulation of stacked goods in ports, customs and warehouses of the Organization for Collection and Sale of State-owned Properties of Iran.

The official called for proper management to facilitate the release of the goods, to supply country's basic needs in times of sanctions, Trend reports via IRNA.

During a reviewing session of country's customs problems, the first VP stated that the enemies would want to create disorder in Iran's foreign trade.

"The government made the necessary plans to conduct the imports inflow under any circumstances and supply basic goods to people. All the organizations should coordinate efforts together to remove the unnecessary rules and avoid the storage of goods at ports and customs," he said, following his visit to Shahid Rajaee port and Bandar Abbas customs checkpoint.
