President of Kazakhstan is expected in Oman on official visit early next year
(Kazakhstan today) - Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, is expected in Oman on official visit early next year, Kazakhstan Today reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, reports Trend.
"The invitation from sultan Qaboos to the head of our state to visit Oman officially has been confirmed by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Foreign Minister of Oman, at the bilateral talks with Kassymzhomart Tokayev, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, in New York," - the MFA said.
Mr. Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah has also said at the talks that Oman is planning to open its embassy in Kazakhstan in the nearest future. The diplomats have also addressed the non-proliferation issues, in particular, the Iranian nuclear problem.
