(IRNA) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that as a monotheist and committed nation, Iranians will never officially recognize the bullying powers.

"If they meet to issue a resolution (against Iran) in a bid to force the Iranian nation to follow their illegal, unjust and bullying demands, they are badly mistaken," said Ahmadinejad in an address to a group of people in a gymnasium in the provincial city of Sahneh.

Ahmadinejad emphasized, "The Iranian nation does not attach the least significance to your illegal and bullying decisions." He advised the enemy to stop their hostility so that they would not lose the chance of having closer ties with the great Iranian nation and not to be hated by Iranians, reports Trend.

He said the Iranian nation has wisely, unanimously and with strong faith chosen the path of dignity.

"Whether the bullying powers like it or not, the Iranian nation will master nuclear technology and no body will be able to deprive them of their right," he added.

He said all the bullying powers will have to yield to the wish of the Iranian nation.

"Soon, all the bullying powers will have to back down in the face of unity and perseverance of such a monotheist and committed nation and will admit Iran's right," he added.

The president called on the audience to have strong faith in God and in divine promises.
