Tehran, Iran, June 19
By Mehdi Sepahvand – Trend:
Iran has loaded its first cargo of mazut to be shipped to a regional country.
The cargo weighs 4,500 tons, said Iran Oil Terminals Co. CEO Pirouz Mousavi, the company’s public relations office reported June 19.
Iran is exceedingly replacing gas for liquid fuels at power plants, since it can acquire gas more cheaply.
That leaves room for exporting liquid fuels, such as mazut.
