Cargo load/unloading performance of Iranian ports

Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization says that over 140 million tons of various type of cargo have been loaded/unloaded in the country's ports.

The report, which covers the time period from the beginning of the current fiscal year (March 20,2017), indicates that the total volume of loading/unloading in Iranian ports has increases by 5.3 percent, year on year.

Oil products rank first among the cargo types. Over 43.8 million tons of oil products were loaded/unloaded in Iranian ports, which is 2.8 percent more compared to the same period of the preceding year.

The report, published by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, covers transportation activities in Iranian ports of Abadan, Astara, Imam Khomeini, Amirabad, Anzali, Boushehr, Jask, Chabahar, Khorramshahr, Shahid Bahonar, Shahid Rajaei, Fereydunkenar, Qeshm, Ganaveh, Lengeh, Neka and Nowshahr.
