The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) decreased by 162.30 points (0.12 percent) to end the trades at 136,910.6 on Aug. 21.
According to the TSE official website, about 1,580 million shares valued at $118 million were traded for the day.
The trading value registered a fall by 33 percent, while the volume decreased by 16.9 percent compared to the preceding day.
The Price Index (TEPIX) decreased by 47.54 points (0.12 percent) to post 40,140.8.
The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) decreased by 108.81 points (0.11 percent) to 100,804.2.
The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) decreased by 371.29 points (0.14 percent) to post 272,960.7.
The Industry Index decreased 229.83 points (0.18 percent) to post 125,760.2.
TSE 30 Index lost 3.90 points (0.06 percent) to close at 6,801.4.
TSE 50 Index lost 12.78 points (0.21 percent) to end at 5,991.2.
National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Isfahan Oil Refining Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company, MAPNA Group and Mobin Petrochemical Company were among those that had the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
Meanwhile, Mobarakeh Steel Company, Khorasan Steel Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company, Informatics Services Cooperation, and Gol Gohar Mining and Industrial Company had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.
