Tehran Stock Exchange performance on Sept. 4

The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) increased by 2,726.03 points ‎(2.02 ‎‎‎‎percent) to end the trades at 137,983.8 on Sept. 4.

According to the TSE official website, about 3,160 million shares valued at $151.5 million were traded for the day.

The Price Index (TEPIX) increased by 797.23 points (2.02 ‎‎‎percent) to post 40,350.3.

The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) increased by 2,176.53 points (2.19 ‎‎‎‎‎‎percent) to 101,607.5.

The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) increased by 4,621.89 points‎ (1.71 ‎‎‎percent) to 275,036.9.

The Industry Index increased by 2,730.95 points (2.21 ‎‎percent) to 126,092.

TSE 30 Index gained 169.84 points (2.58 ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎percent) to 6,747.5.

TSE 50 Index gained 129.38 points (2.21 ‎‎‎‎‎percent) to 5,973.1.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company, Mobarakeh Steel Company, Golgohar Mining & Industrial Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company were among those that had the highest positive effect on the TSE index.

Meanwhile, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL), Informatics Services Corporation, Bank Mellat, Bank Tejarat, Khorasan Steel Company and Sina Bank had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.
