Iran’s Sala Dairy Company exports 600 tons of dairy products

Arak Dairy Industries Co. (Sala Dairy Company) located in Arak city of Iran’s Markazi province exported 600 tons of dairy products worth over $100 billion rials (about $2.38 million) last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), the company’s Executive Director Hamed Amini Mosleh Abadi said, Trend reports via IRNA.
He said that the company’s dairy products were exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
He added that sour cream, doogh, milk and cheese varieties are the products exported by the company.
“The company buys about 1,700 tons of milk per month and turns it into dairy products,” he said.
He noted that the company has received new orders for the export of dairy products to various countries.
He added that the company employs 180 people.
More than 2,800 industrial facilities operate in Iran’s Markazi province.
