Wheat production in Fardis County of Iran's Alborz Province will increase by 21 percent during the current Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019), in comparison with the figures of the previous year, said Mohsen Mousavi, head of the agricultural department of Fardis County of Alborz Province, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
According to Mousavi, wheat has been planted in 366 hectares of land during the current sowing year. Also, it is expected 2,560 tons of wheat will be harvested, he said.
Mousavi added that 2,110 tons of wheat was harvested from the 332-hectare area last year.
The Fardis County of Iran's Alborz Province has 1,400 hectares of gardens and 1,100 hectares of sowing area.
