Iran's Energy Exchange will start to sell two products, namely, propylene and hexane, and the import of these two products will be suspended, Executive Director of the Energy Exchange Ali Huseyni said.

“A decision was made to sell these two products at Iran’s Energy Exchange,” the executive director added, Trend reports referring to Fars news agency. “These two products are produced by Iran's Shazand refinery.”

"The sale of these two products will begin this week and their production will reach 80 percent per year," Huseyni said. “Some 40,000 tons of hexane and 60,000 tons of propylene will be sold annually.”

“Hexane produced by the Kermanshah oil refining company, Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex and propylene produced by Abadan oil refining company will be sold on Iran's Energy Exchange,” Huseyni said.
