Tabriz-Miyaneh railway will be put into operation in the next few days and before the end of Rouhani's administration, the governor of East Azerbaijan Province said.

He went on to say that the infrastructure of the route, the access road to the station from the highway and the station area have also been completed.
According to IRNA, the BostanAbad-Tabriz railway is part of the large Miyaneh-Tabriz railway project, the first phase of which was opened from Miyaneh to Bostanabad during the president's visit to East Azerbaijan Province in December 2019.
With the full operation of this project, Iran's rail transit will be connected to Europe for the first time.
