An industrial gas inflow with a flow rate of more than 400,000 cubic meters per day has been received at the Turkmen Malay field, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
The drilling operations at the field were carried out by Turkmengazburavlayysh department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern.
Malay is one of the Turkmenistan’s fields, where natural gas has been produced for many years. The supply of natural gas to Turkmenistan-China interstate gas pipeline is provided from this field.
Earlier it was noted that commissioning work is carried out at the booster compressor station (BSC) built at the Malay gas field in Turkmenistan’s Lebap region.
The capacity of the BSC is 30 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The infrastructure of the facility consists of block A and block B, there are also control and technical points, as well as closed switchgear.
