TEHRAN, Iran, April 27. The director of Iran`s Geological Survey (GSI) Reza Jadidi said the GSI had officially launched its first Geological Transformation Project and the Exploration of Mineral Resources in Kurdistan Province, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The total funds needed to complete the project in Kurdistan province is estimated to be $66 million," said Jadidi.
He expected that the exploratory and geological studies will lead to the discovery of new mineral reserves, and investment attraction in the mining sector of Kurdistan province.
