BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) issued an official foreign currency rate on March 27, Trend reports.

Based on the bank's currency exchange rate, 17 currency prices grew while 20 fell from March 26.

As to CBI, $1 equals 42,000 Iranian rials, and one euro equals 45,457 rials. On March 26, 1 euro was 45,517 rials.

In Iran, the official exchange rate is used for the import of some essential products.

The CBI established the SANA system, which values one euro at 470,689 rials and $1 at 434,725 rials.

NIMA is a scheme for selling a percentage of the foreign money earned from exports.

The price of one euro in this system amounted to 439,075 rials, and the price of $1 was 405,527 rials.

On the black market, $1 is worth about 605,000–68,000 rials, while one euro is about 655,000–658,000 rials.
