Last week the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev completed formation of the government of the country, appointing the heads of state committees and services. Three were replaced of 19 heads of the organs of central executive power.
Thus, in accordance with the Presidential order, Kamran Imanov returned to the post of the head of the Agency on Copyrights, which for a while was led Abutalib Samedov when Imanov was appointed to the post of the head of the Department of Historical Architectural Monument "Icheri Sheher" (" Old City"). It should be mentioned that the Agency on Copyrights was originally created by Imanov, and he is key specialist in this sphere in Azerbaijan.
In the process of re-appointments, Imran Mehdiyev was deprived of his post of the head of Agency on Public Purchases. In the time of his leadership, the Agency knew how to ensure conducting of the public purchases in the country only in a competitive way and set up base for the electronic system of purchases. Mehdiyev was replaced by Iskender Chendirli.
Other appointment was replacement of chairman of State Securities Committee. This year, the Committee will mark 10th anniversary of its existence, and replacement of its chairman contributed to change its status. At the same time, Rufat Aslanli, who was the deputy chairman of the Board of National Bank of Azerbaijan, is one of the chief specialists in the country in the sphere of financial control. He replaced Gunduz Mammadov on this post.
Moreover, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an order establishing State Securities Committee. The order envisages establishment of State Securities Committee on the base of State Securities Committee under auspice of Azerbaijan President. According to the Presidential order, the Ministers are in charge of preparing proposals on the project and dealing with the organizational issues on the establishment of the Committee.
Also the President of Azerbaijan issued an order establishing State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patent of Azerbaijan Republic. According to the order, the Committee shall be established on the base of the State Agency on Standardization, Metrology and Patent of Azerbaijan Republic. According to the Presidential order, the Ministers are in charge of preparing proposals on the project and dealing with the organizational issues on the establishment of the Committee.
