Second Armenian president Robert Kocharyan does not exclude his return to great politics.
"I do not exclude my return to great politics," he said in an interview with the Armenian Mediamax Agency.
Kocharyan's possible return to politics is one of the main topics on the domestic political agenda after Prime Minister Vladimir Putin announced his plan to run for Russian president in 2012.
Kocharian said that only three circumstances may contribute to his returning. First is the lack of tangible and sustainable improvement in the economy and welfare, and as a consequence, the growth of desperate moods and migration. Second is the demand of different social layers of the society for his return to politics. Third is confidence that he is able to radically improve the situation.
"Having these three factors, there are different ways of returning to active politics," he said. "All other circumstances make have some features, add a political resource, but they are not fundamental factors."
