Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili says he is ready to buy any Georgian TV company. He told the owners he will pay three times more than the market value, the businessman said on Friday.
It became known on Wednesday that Ivanishvili intends to form a party and to take part in parliamentary elections in 2012.
"I will buy any Georgian TV company having license for the information programs," he said. "I am ready to pay three times more than the market value for the holder to have a real interest."
He stressed that one of the five audit companies recommended by the World Bank must determine this cost, News-Georgia agency reported.
"Legally, this commitment will be formalized with a contract of sale," Ivanishvili said.
