Presentation of renewed Telavi (Kakheti region, Eastern Georgia) was held on Saturday. President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili attended the ceremony.
The festivities began at 12:00 am and will conclude by the concert of the "Gypsy Kings".
The President of Georgia first visited House of Justice, in which local residents will be able to receive about 300 services in minutes. Saakashvili expressed his delight that the Georgian brand in the form of the House of Justice has received the approval of the UN, UK and other countries that follow the example of Georgia in the industry.
The President also visited the fully rehabilitated downtown and Nadikvari park.
There he met with the public, which has expressed approval in connection with the projects implemented in the whole Kakheti region.
Rehabilitation of Telavi began in March of this year and it has been allocated 120 million lari ($1 = 1.65 lari) from the state budget of Georgia.
