Georgia sees increase in car re-export to Kyrgyzstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Georgia’s re-export of cars to Kyrgyzstan from January through March 2022 amounted to $3.6 million, which is an increase of 125 percent, compared to $1.6 million over the same period of 2021, Trend reports with the reference to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

According to the Geostat statistics, Kyrgyzstan stands in fifth place among the top 5 main importers of the re-exported cars from Georgia from January through March 2022.

Georgia’s total car re-export over the first quarter of 2022 totaled $94.8 million, which is an increase of 9.7 percent, compared to $86.4 million over the same period of 2021.
