People flee floods from monsoon rains in the northeastern Indian state of Assam even as forest rangers keep patrolling the area for poachers as it is home to the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, Trend reports citing AFP. The park has the second highest concentration of rhinos in the state.

The floods have killed three people and marooned more than 400,000, officials said on Thursday.
