Pre-election silence has begun its rule over Russia. People are given 24 hours to contemplate on the month-long parliamentary election marathon, without any interference from the contenders.
All news services in Russia are prohibited from broadcasting or publishing any campaign messages, forecasts, or opinion polls to ensure unbiased voting the next day.
Meanwhile, everything is ready for Sunday's election. The doors of the polling stations will open at 8 am.
Russia's Far East will be the first region to cast their votes.
Exit poll results will only be made public after the last ballot has been cast in the west of the country. ( RT )
