( dpa ) - One person was stabbed to death and at least seven others injured in a stabbing spree at a shopping mall in eastern Japan, local media reported Sunday.
The 24-year-old man suspected of attacking the eight people with a knife in front of a shopping mall in Tsuchiura, Ibaraki Prefecture, was arrested, reported Kyodo news agency.
The suspect was wanted for the earlier slaying of a 72-year-old man, police said.
