According to him, in the scope of the visit the officials plan to sign some agreements, in particular Program of Ukrainian-Russian cooperation for next two years. This document will determine main tasks of work of Intergovernmental committee Yushchenko-Putin.
The Ambassador noted the significance of this document, reports Trend.
During the year committee wasn't in session. Only at the end of last year the task was set to carry out a meeting, the Ambassador reminded.
Chernomyrdin noted that it is unexampled case for Russia that the President of Russia is the head of Intergovernmental committee. But taking into consideration importance of our relations, the Presidents agreed to head the committee, he added.
