Russia not going to wage war against Turkey
Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 25
Russia is not going to wage war against Turkey, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Nov. 25.
"Our attitude towards the Turkish people has not changed," he said in an interview with Russian and foreign reporters, RIA Novosti reported.
"We have questions to the actions taken by the current Turkish leadership," added Lavrov.
He added that Moscow will seriously reassess agreements and review relations with Turkey.
Meanwhile, he noted that Moscow doesn't go away from its contacts with Ankara, showing his recent phone conversation with Turkish FM as an evidence of this.
On Nov. 24, Turkish Air Force shot down a Russian SU-24 warplane in Turkey's airspace. Pilots managed to bale out, while the aircraft fell to Syria's territory.
