In April 2019, 59 construction companies were registered in Turkey, which is 6.43 percent more compared to April 2018, the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB) told Trend on May 23.
Fifty IT companies were registered in the country in April 2019, which is 5.45 percent more compared to April 2018.
"In April 2019, 20 companies rendering consulting services were registered in Turkey, which is 2.18 percent more compared to April 2018," TOBB reports.
Energy enterprises comprise the majority of the companies closed in Turkey in April 2019. According to TOBB, 143 energy companies closed in the country, which is 17.42 percent more than in April 2018.
During this period, 76 construction companies closed in Turkey, which is 9.26 percent more than in April 2018.
In April 2019, eight bank branches opened in Turkey and 23 bank branches closed.
"In January-April, 26 bank branches opened in Turkey and 91 bank branches closed," TOBB reports.
