In January-June 2019, Turkey exported defense industry products worth $19.967 million to Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to Turkish media on July 11.
It is reported that the US holds 1st place in terms of the volume of exports of Turkish defense industry products, which amount to $403.5 million.
"During this period, exports of Turkish defense industry products to Qatar amounted to $134.6 million, $122.4 million worth of exports were made to Germany, and $63.27 million worth of exports were made to the UAE," Turkish media reported.
It is noted that during the reporting period, the total volume of exports of Turkish defense industry products amounted to $1.282 billion, which is 4.4 percent more than in the same period last year.
Turkey has invested about $35 billion in its defense industry in recent years.
