Turkey discloses cargo transshipment via Port of Samsun

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish Port of Samsun amounted to 986,640 tons in January 2020, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure on Feb. 28.

In January 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships through the Turkish Port of Samsun amounted to 61,819 tons, and by ships flying the flag of other countries - 924,821 tons.

Cargo transshipment via Port of Samsun by transit was not carried out in January 2020.

The volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020. Meanwhile, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.4 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flag of other countries amounted to 30.5 million tons.

In January 2020, over 6.1 million tons of cargo transshipment in transit were carried out through Turkish ports.
