Turkey’s trade turnover with Georgia grew by $8.7 million in January 2020 compared to January 2019, exceeding $116 million, a source in the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend Mar. 10.
“In January 2020, Turkey’s exports to Georgia amounted to $96.4 million, and imports from Georgia - $19.5 million,” the ministry said.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $33.9 billion in January 2020.
During the reported period, Turkish exports have grown by 6.4 percent compared to the same period in 2019, amounting to $14.7 billion.
Turkey’s imports increased by 18.8 percent in January 2020, compared to the same month of 2019, and exceeded $19.2 billion,” the ministry added.
