BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Steel exports from Turkiye increased by 34.6 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $9.6 billion, Turkish Trade Ministry told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
"Turkiye exported steel in the amount of $1.9 billion in May 2022, 11 percent more than May 2021," the ministry said.
According to the ministry, Turkiye exported steel worth $24.8 billion in the last 12 months (from May 2021 through May 2022).
