Volume of passenger traffic at Turkish Milas-Bodrum Int'l Airport revealed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 16. The passenger traffic at the Turkish Milas Bodrum International Airport increased by 34 percent to 3.9 million people in December 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.

According to the ministry, the airport's passenger traffic on domestic flights increased by 7 percent and totaled 7.04 million people, while on international flights - by 86 percent to 1.8 million people.

The airport's cargo turnover on domestic flights totaled 18,842 tons (an increase of 10 percent compared to 2021), while on international flights - 24,596 tons (an increase of 83 percent compared to 2021).

According to the agency, the number of flights performed in December 2022 amounted to 35,598, which is 20 percent higher than in December 2021. At the same time, the number of domestic flights amounted to 18,630 (an increase of 3 percent), and international flights – 16,968 (an increase of 62 percent).

Total passenger traffic at Turkish airports was 181.9 million, with cargo turnover of 4.4 million tons in 2022.
