BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 21. Türkiye reduced steel exports to Uzbekistan by 54.4 percent from January through February 2023, compared to the same period last year, to $6.1 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
In February of this year, Turkish steel exports to Uzbekistan decreased by 38.9 percent compared to the same month in 2022, reaching $3.8 million.
From January through February 2023, steel exports from Türkiye decreased by 35.2 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to $2.2 billion.
Türkiye exported $1.1 billion worth of steel in February 2023, which was 38.8 percent less compared to February last year.
Over the past 12 months (from February 2022 through February 2023), Türkiye exported steel worth $31.6 billion.
