BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. The Turkish port of Ayvalik received 785 tons of cargo from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
The data of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye said that 785 tons of cargo were transported from the port of Ayvalik by ships under the flag of Türkiye. Vessels under the flags of other countries did not carry any cargo.
"Transit cargo did not pass through the port of Ayvalik in Türkiye in the period from January through September 2023," the ministry said.
In general, Turkish ports received 32 million tons of cargo (ships under the Turkish flag: 2.5 million tons; ships under the flags of other countries: 29.6 million tons) in September 2023.
In addition, 5.1 million tons of transit cargo were transported from the ports of Türkiye in September 2023.
According to the ministry, Turkish ports received 292.6 million tons of cargo (ships under the Turkish flag: 21.7 million tons; ships under the flags of other countries: 270.9 million tons) from January through September 2023.
Moreover, 51.7 million tons of transit cargo were transported from Turkish ports from January through September 2023.
