Turkish foreign minister to attend Arab league meeting in Egypt

( Cihan ) - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul is set to leave for Egypt on Saturday to attend the Arab League meeting.

FM Gul is scheduled to participate in the Arab League meeting to be held on March 3- 4 in Cairo, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

Gul is expected to deliver a speech at the opening session of the gathering.

During his two-day visit to Egypt, Gul will also hold bilateral talks with several foreign ministers of Arab League members.

Turkish FM will also be received by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and he will meet his Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Abul Gheit.
