Subscribers having both analog and digital television can watch 3-D. There is "KATV1 3D Test" for subscribers of digital television in test mode.

But "KATV1 Info" is replaced by a new 3D channel for subscribers of analog television.

It is necessary to enter the following parameters: frequency - 338.000 KHz, modulation - 256 QAM and speed - 6875 to watch three-dimensional images in digital format.

Programs are broadcasted within a few hours a day.

Only movies and animated films are broadcasted given the small number of television content in 3D format.

The technology of three-dimensional image allows a person to see the image fully as he sees the ordinary world.

Special 3D glasses are required to watch 3D programs. They are already available in Baku shops. The price ranges from a few manat to 170 manat.

Today 40-46 inch 3D-TV sets are available in Azerbaijan. The price for these TV sets ranges from 2,000 manat.
