The bodycount in today's bomb explosion incident in Afghanistan has risen to four people, Office of the Spokesperson to the President of Afghanistan told Trend.
"The blast killed four, including one child, and injured 34 injured people, including three women," the office said.
Earlier today, a car exploded on the crowded street near the Educational Department building in Lashkar Gah city of Afghanistan's Helmand Province.
Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Nikzad told Trend earlier that terrorist groups in Afghanistan might be involved in the incident, although no group has claimed responsibility yet.
"An investigation has been launched into the incident," he said. "The target was neither military nor state agencies, but civilians."
Afghanistan president Hamid Karzai, who is in Europe on official visits, strongly condemned the terror act in Lashkar Gah.
