Senior military officials of Georgia and NATO will hold consultations in Brussels May 5, NATO Spokesman James Appathurai said today.
He said the Alliance appreciates the Georgian military's participation in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and in the future will continue to support reformation of the country's defense system.
Georgia supports NATO operations in Afghanistan, where now 170 Georgian militaries serve. In the coming days, another 700 Georgian military men will leave for Afghanistan.
